Lehi City requires a building permit to finish a basement and keeps a Residential Basement Finish checklist for what needs to be submitted. All applications go through the city's online Building Permit Submittal Portal, and the approved, city-stamped plans must be on site for every inspection.
We handle that paperwork for you: we prepare and submit the plans, schedule the inspections with Lehi's Building and Inspections department, and make sure each stage is ready before the inspector arrives. Learn more on the city's Building and Inspections page.
